I don't know why I didn't post these sooner, but oh well. This Valentine's Day was great! I got to spend it with my honey this year. Last year, Joe was in Savannah, GA getting ready to leave for Iraq. The only thing I got to do was send him a Valentine's package, which wasn't the same. We really didn't do much on Valentine's Day, though. We just enjoyed each other's company before we went out to dinner that night. I guess it was such a special night for Joe, because he broke out a suit for the occassion. He normally isn't into the whole suit thing, so I was excited to have a fancy night out!

Jenni's Bridal Shower
One of my good friends is getting married next month, and she had her bridal shower the weekend after the huge snow/ice storm. Half the people attending didn't have power, but still came out to support Jenni. I decided that since I don't have kids to blog about, I need to take a ton of pictures at everything I attend! Her shower was a lot of fun, and I can't wait til the wedding. Her shower also doubled as a Pampered Chef party. Since the original person had an emergency to attend to, Jenni's mom had to play chef for the event. It was pretty entertaining!!
Jenni's mom, Nancy, cooking mini cheeseburgers for the party. She felt like noone was paying attention to her, but I assured her that since I was sitting right in front of her that I was watching. I told her I would capture her marvelous cooking skills...she didn't seem happy about that! haha!
Jenni had to answer questions about Aaron to see how well she knew her future husband. If she got the answer wrong, she had to chew a gumball. She only missed 3 out of the 15...not too bad!!
Jenni happened to open my presents first. I wanted to get a fun gift for the shower; the serious gifts are more for the wedding. She had a few games on her registry, and I think every house needs to have some fun laying around.
I apparently picked the right game off the list, because Clue is her favorite game!! I'm such a good friend!! I also got her a gift bag full of snacks to have a game night theme.
